A Gospel Band

The Word "Alegrar" is a spanish word which means 'Rejoice' or 'To cheer up'. The band was formed on 2008 before that we had a temporary old band name called "Soul Rockers" at the age of secondaory schools. We all started our show from our home town Kalyan. Our main genre is Gospel and Christian Rock. Christian rock is a form of rock music that features lyrics focusing on matters of Christian faith, often with an emphasis on Jesus, typically performed by self-proclaimed Christian individuals. We were a group of 4 band member, later which has increased to other 4 professional players by selecting from different areas. We the alegrar people play Gospel songs, album covers, Molliwood and Christian Rock. We started performing in various churches and as years passed by we started taking singing sessions for youth camps and special occasions of Church too. The owner of J Harmony Production is Jerrin Oommen( Guitarist) and is an official Music & Video Production Company which works for Alegrar. By God's grace we have done more than 10 shows in Mumbai.
